Between us All Canines Great and Small and you the client 

We will always do our best to fulfil your needs and meet your expectations, but it is important to have things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and when, and what will happen if something goes wrong. In this contract you won’t find any complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text.

What do both parties agree to do?

You: You undertake to make a full and frank disclosure on the booking form of any matter, fact, or trait concerning your dog(s) which might impact on the care of your dog(s) whilst in the care of All Canines Great and Small, including but not limited to, health issues, incontinence, destructive or anti-social behaviour including aggression, have a tendency to lead pull or try run away on walks. Suffer from excessive barking, whining, separation anxiety, fears or phobias.

You must inform All Canines Great and Small immediately if there are any changes to the information you provided on the booking form, prior to your dog(s)’s appointment.

You must ensure that your dog(s) is/are up to date with their vaccinations (Kennel Cough is recommend, but not essential). You must also provide the original and or a copy of your dog(s)’s current and up to date vaccination card prior to your dog(s)’s initial appointment.

Should your dog(s) need veterinary assistance during your dog(s) appointment You agree to pay to all veterinary bills incurred.

Your dog(s) should arrive wearing a safe and correctly fitted collar with id tag and suitable lead.

You will pay for any damage caused by your dog(s) to any venues where your dog(s) attend an All Canines Great and Small event.

You will accept responsibility for all third party liability.

You agree that if your dog(s) is involved in a fight with another dog(s) or attacks causing injury to person(s), dog(s), animal(s) or Bird(s) you will be responsible for any losses incurred as a result including, but not limited to, payment of veterinary fees in respect of injuries to another animal and birds caused by your dog.

For all classes, training, scentwork, tracking, agility, 1:2:1 or group and seminars where dogs are allowed. The owner is responsible for their dog(s) at all times.

Us: All Canines Great and Small will take every reasonable care to ensure the happiness, safety and welfare of your dog(s) during their time with us. If however your dog(s) becomes unwell or has an accident during their stay and needs medical assistance we have your permission to take them to your vet or where that is not possible to our veterinary surgery.

It is All Canines Great and Small’s policy to exercise all dogs on a lead/flexi lead. However, if you prefer your dog(s) be exercised off lead, please advise us on the booking form. If your dog(s) is/are not insured (including third party liability cover) we reserve the right to exercise your dog(s) on a lead only.

Getting down to the nitty gritty

Bookings are not accepted until your fully completed booking form is returned along with a copy of your dog(s)’s current up to date vaccination card and the required deposit has been paid and cleared, at which point we will send you an email or text confirming your booking.

Payment – Home Boarding

£100.00 Deposit for any home boarding booking is required in advance. Your dog is NOT booked with us until your deposit, fully completed form and a copy of your dog(s) current up to date vaccination card is received. Final payment is required on day of drop off. All Canines Great and Small will only accept your dog for home boarding once the final payment is received.

Should All Canines Great and Small have to cancel your booking, this will be refunded to you within five working days.

Once you have received our written, text or email confirmation of your booking, should you have to cancel the booking one month is required.

Cancellation from you within:

• Three weeks will incur a £40.00 booking fee.
• Two weeks will incur a £50.00 booking fee.
• One week will incur a £60.00 booking fee.
• In any event will incur a £25.00 booking fee.

This will be taken out of your pre-paid deposit.

Payments for the following services are required:

For our Home Boarding, Doggy Day Care and Dog Grooming services we only accept family dogs that are well-adjusted, non-aggressive, fully house trained and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. For our Dog Walking and Home Visits we only accept well-adjusted, non-aggressive family dogs that are up to date with vaccinations and flea and worming treatments.   

All Canines Great and Small reserve the right, without any prior notice, nor liability, to decline to care for any dog we consider to be unwell at the time of leaving your dog(s) with us for their planned stay. 

Any dog showing aggressive behaviour to us or any resident dogs, becoming uncontrollable or a nuisance beyond reasonable acceptance, including but not limited to excessive barking or howling will be transferred to recommended kennels. Should this be the case all additional costs will be met by the owner.

We do recommend that dogs are fully insured during their stay with us.

Legal stuff

In the event of any emergency where we are unable to proceed with any of our services, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and refund any deposits or any pre-paid fees, without any liability to All Canines Great and Small.

All Canines Great and Small are subject to the terms of the Dangerous Dog Act 1991 and are unable to accept any dogs with aggression issues towards people, other dogs or other animals.

Although we take every effort to ensure your dog(s) welfare we will not be liable for loss, injury or death.

All Canines Great and Small reserve the right to change our terms and conditions with immediate effect at any time without any prior notice, nor liability.

We reserve the right to take photos of your dog to put on our website and Facebook page; If you do not wish for this you will need to let us know in writing, text or e-mail..

We reserve the right at any point to refuse Home Boarding for any dog we consider unsuitable.
